April 2017 Letter

April was certainly a busy month, with quite a bit of travelling and adapting to new changes happening in my life. I gave my 30-day writing challenge a red hot crack, but after day 20 I had so much else going on that writing fell down my list of priorities. I’m ready to give a second shot at my writing challenge, this time focusing more on incorporating it into my daily routine.

'But everyone is in favor of their own free speech (including, for instance, Vladimir Putin). The test of your commitment to free speech as a general principle is whether you are willing to tolerate the speech of others, especially those with whom you most disagree. If you are using your speech to try to silence speech, you are not in favor of free speech. You are only in favor of yourself.'

I hope you have a productive month this May!
